Welcome to the page that is solely
devoted to the series of the greatest games of all time. Doom.
My dream has come true, well one of them J, Doom III is in the making. Also keep a look out for Return to Castle Wolfeinstein! Coming Sping 2001 (they say) RTCW uses the Quake III engine to render some fantastic graphics, including authentic looking WW2 buildings & baddies with a good mix of fantastical Nazi characters which give the game a feel of the original, put it this way, these two games are bound to be great!
Anyone who is a true fan will have the prequel Wolfeinstein but now there is a sequel made using a modified original game engine! As ID Software have released the source code for Wolfienstein, Ndev software has not only made 4 types of ammo, but new baddies, 6 weapons I think, new items, redesigned items, armour & 5 new episodes to boot! This excellent freeware game & many others can be found at http://www.freegames.org.

ZDOOM has been released which grants the Doom fan everything they liked about Quake but in the typical Doom environment. Zdoom allows the player to choose resolutions from the original 320*200 to 1024*768 and to use the mouse to aim up & down such as is commonly used in Half-Life & other 3D shooters. Another much asked for upgrade is the fact that the doom marine can now jump plus added transparency for objects which overall gives Doom a more ‘recent’ feel. I haven’t even mentioned my personal favorite, the doom bots! These are artificial human players that you can play against without playing over the Internet, network, etc… Plus you can play against them in deathmatch carnage and even co-operative should you want to. I strongly recommend this download if you’re a fan of Doom. This has inspired me to start creating some new levels designed to use these new abilities. Zdoom works with Doomv1.9 shareware, Doom v1.9 registered, Doom II & Final Doom and many mods.
Download Zdoom upgrade: 577Kb. Or visit the Zdoom website at: http://zdoom.notgod.com/
